The Auction Process
We're hosting this auction to raise funds for our camp. Community members have generously donated items, experiences, and services for bidding. The highest bidder receives a certificate with contact details for both parties, making payment through the provided QR code. All proceeds go directly toward supporting our camp.
What Happens Next
Everything offered comes from our community members - we're simply facilitating connections. Once the auction ends, winners and donors coordinate directly to arrange fulfillment. The auction organizers step back at that point, leaving the scheduling and specific arrangements to be worked out between the two parties involved.
Foundation of Consent
Every interaction stemming from this auction must be grounded in explicit, ongoing, and enthusiastic consent. Everyone has the right to set boundaries or withdraw consent at any point, including after the auction. Think of a successful bid as opening a dialogue rather than finalizing every detail. Whatever develops should work for everyone involved.
Personal Responsibility
As adults, we're all responsible for our own choices and interactions. The camp organizers facilitate the auction itself, but any subsequent arrangements are private matters between individuals. We trust everyone to communicate openly, respect each other's boundaries, and handle things maturely, just as we do in all aspects of our community.
Privacy and Discretion
What happens between community members after the auction is private. We ask everyone to respect each other's privacy and use good judgment about what, if anything, you share with others. Personal contact information should only be used for coordinating your auction arrangements, not for other purposes.
Disputes and Issues
If something doesn't work out as expected between a winner and donor, we encourage you to work it out directly with good faith and open communication. While we can't mediate individual arrangements, our camp leadership is available if you need advice or if there are serious concerns about community conduct. We're all here to support each other and maintain the positive spirit of our group.
